It feels like forever since I’ve done one of these. Not that I’ve been out of the gym, although I was absent for about a week, but I’ve been neglecting these blog posts. Ok, here’s a quick update:
Its gotten dark and cold up here. Seems like November has given way to Winter very quickly. Already, I’m beginning to notice a difference in energy levels, lack of sunshine, lack of being able to not put a sweater on. Winter is definitely here.
Every week, I try to write a new entry for this ‘gym’ / ‘workout’ thing I’m doing and I always place some inane babble about here. I don’t have a lot to say really. Not today anyway. I went to the gym. See results below:
There are some days when you leave the gym, thinking you’ve failed, you could have given more, or that your workout didnt feel great.
This was not one of those days.
Its been a crazy busy couple of weeks. Its always nice to clear your head with a workout after a long day and week.
Its another late Wednesday night. Remember, the hardest step is always the first one out the door.
OK, push ups can be hard, especially if you’re not used to them. They are a big part of any fitness plan, you can do them anywhere, with no equipment and have hundreds of varieties.
“But I can’t do a push up!”
its okay. baby steps man.
Feeling that i’ve got running under control and since i’m now running 10 minutes a session, I thought it might be time to bring in another exercise. Something good, something basic, something classic.
Push-ups are tough but easy once you get used to them. but what if i cant do a push up after all this time. Well, luckily Raphael had me covered.
